It was "bashert", a chance meeting in Spring 2023 at a local library where Moses Znaimer offered me an opportunity to learn about the world of videography for a new video streaming station project he had under his wing called Bay Watch. This is the new streaming arm of On The Bay Magazine. I immediately said yes, and was so grateful for the opportunity to work under his guidance. I was also touched that he had confidence in me to learn, grow creatively and create these local stories. Now, almost a year later and over 200 video's later...it has been quite a whirlwind ride and an exciting time writing, filming, voicing, editing my own projects and more importantly connecting with the people and their wonderful stories here in the South Georgian Bay Community.
